Just Back from the Hamptons!
We just returned from the Hamptons, truly the perfect way to end the summer relaxing with family and friends (from a distance of course)! On this trip, we opted for a home rental from our new partner, StayMarquis, which offers home and villa rentals with full concierge services as if we were staying in a hotel. We enjoyed the luxury of having our own private space and pool, while being close to town. For those look for a stress-free home rental on the East Coast, allow Andiamo to book you a private home that comes equipped with a private chef and daily cleaning. We are able to add any other amenities that you may need or desire!
This house was in our new favorite area of the Hamptons- Sagaponak. The village of Sagaponak is quaint compared to some of our other Hampton’s faves, but it had everything we needed and more! Our morning walks consisted of long stretches of beautiful beaches and even more beautiful homes. The best part about Sagaponak is its location. You can easily walk into Bridgehampton and Water Mill and South Hampton are only a quick drive or bike ride away. Within 25 minutes you are in East Hampton. All of the towns have a special charm to them and we loved our central location to be able to experience it all!
We rounded up our favorite things to do in the Hamptons in August:
Wolffer Estate: One of the most beautiful vineyards in the Hamptons and only a 5 minute drive from Sagaponak, Wolffer is the perfect afternoon spot. Reserve a picnic table outside by the vineyards and enjoy some delicious Rose and apps.
Bostwick’s Chowder House –A trip to the Hamptons is not complete without a buttery lobster roll. Our favorite of the trip was at Bostwick’s. Everything on the menu is amazing, from the lobster roll to the baked clams and flounder. There is limited outdoor seating so make sure to get here early! If you prefer not to wait, they have their pickup down to a science and bring your order directly to your car.
Jean-Georges at Topping Rose House– Located in one of the nicest hotels in the Hamptons, right in Bridgehampton, Topping Rose is the perfect brunch spot. Their farm to table cuisine uses ingredients grown right on the property’s one acre farm. We highly recommend sitting outside on the patio. If you are feeling ambitious be sure to check out Isaac Boots workout class on the lawn of Topping Rose before grabbing brunch!
Sant Ambroeus - One of our favorite Italian restaurants with excellent food, but theflawless ambiance sets it apart. They have the most incredible back patio that is hidden from the buzz of the main street. It is perfect for a date night or to bring the kiddos! If you like pasta, we definitely recommend the Cacio E Pepe.
Pro Tip: They bring the desserts in from the city so make sure to ask about the desserts when you arrive so you can reserve it ahead of time. They always run out by the end of the night!
